OK heres rit spike. You see some not so good things. You see one guy get hexed hmm nothing? three seconds later BAM. 1/4 time spot for the infuse. so basicly Its a super spike that needs some REALLY Good infusing. Also, the spike is so powerful sometimes even when you do infuse him it isnt enough.

its not a matter of just rit spike, but normally if you go against a good spike team and unless you have good monks that can catch the spike, you will die a lot. if you die a lot and cant kill the other team then you might as well resign. Rit spike is just another spike that this guild just prefers. The we rift refers to the main spike skills, the 2, 1 refers to the countdown to the spike, the u resign part simply saying you might as well resign cause we do rit spike which will kill you and pwn you( i am in NO way saying that rit spike can just what the guild is saying)

normally the necro caller will rend or gaze at the same moment the spike comes in making previous prots useless. The appeal to rit spike is if both rift and the follow up hit exactly the same time for everyone and the caller rends a split second before the spike (assuming the target doesn't have passive defenses and or a ton of lightning armor) it should be impossible to catch the spike. However, all these conditions are rarely met.
and yes the best way to pre prot is with aura but you only have 1 second to hit it not 3. |

I lol'ed at the comment about infuse.
Also if you've ever faced a good ritspike then it is incredibly hard to catch, you basically can't preprot because they rend your prot a split second before the spike hits, making the spike do it's full 1000 or so damage, and because the spike is such a high damage spike and usually because the spike is so clean, it's very hard to infuse. Also, even if you can catch some of the spikes, the extreme amount of utility that can be brought in the team build allows for a vast amount of defense making it very hard to actually kill. (This is on the basis that the team running the ritspike is actually good though), and so inevitably some spikes will go through. |
